A selection of 11 natural dye extracts from GREEN’ING was recently approved “compliant to GOTS 4.0” by IMO.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres and inputs, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. It was elaborated by several international certification bodies.
GOTS certified textiles must contain at least 70 % of organic fibres. Manufacturing inputs such as dyestuffs and additives must comply to environmental and toxicological criteria.
The 11 natural dye extracts submitted were assessed and approved by IMO as inputs for application in the processing of GOTS certified textile products.
